Danny Matt Dorgan

Daniel Matthew Dorgan (12 October 1906 – 17 June 1956) was an Irish hurler who played for Cork Senior Championship club Glen Rovers.

After winning a County Intermediate Championship title in 1925, he went on to become one of the stalwart defenders on the team that won a record eight County Senior Championship titles before a long-term injury ended his career in 1941.

[2] Success at club level also saw Dorgan earn selection with the Cork senior hurling team.

[3] Dorgan was recalled in 1939 and won National League and Munster Championship titles as a reserve.
