Danny Röhl (born 28 April 1989) is a German football coach and former player who is manager of EFL Championship club Sheffield Wednesday.
[3] Röhl began coaching at RB Leipzig, later working at Southampton,[4] Bayern Munich,[5] and as assistant manager of the Germany national team.
[7][8][9] He said he was looking forward to the challenge of his first managerial position,[10] while player Josh Windass said he was excited to learn from Röhl.
[16] Following 11 points from 6 games in April 2024, he took Sheffield Wednesday out of the relegation zone and was nominated for the Manager of the Month award.
[17] Röhl secured Championship survival for Wednesday on the final day of the season following a 2–0 victory over Sunderland.
