Daryn Cresswell

[3] In 1997, he dislocated his kneecap while laying a tackle, knocked it back into place immediately, and played again the next week.

Particularly, a kick after the siren from Creswell scored a goal and secured victory for Sydney over North Melbourne in Round 4 of the 2002 season.

He then moved back to Tasmania and coached the Tasmanian Devils in the VFL following the resignation of Matthew Armstrong, where, after a number of poor performances and a scandal involving a six-figure debt he owed to Tassie Mariners coach Andrew Mellor, he fled Tasmania to England for some time.

2010 saw Cresswell sign with Sydney AFL Premier Division side Western Suburbs, kicking 33 goals in 10 matches.

Upon release in October 2011, he appeared on Channel 7's Sunday Night, where he admitted to placing a $200 bet on a match he was playing in back in 2003.
