He won the gold medal in the men's 75 kg event at the 2021 World Karate Championships held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

In 2018, he competed in the men's kumite 75 kg event at the Asian Games held in Jakarta, Indonesia where he was eliminated in his first match by eventual bronze medalist Bashar Al-Najjar of Jordan.
