David Anderson (Manx politician)

David Moore Anderson (born 6 February 1954)[1] is a former Member of the House of Keys (MHK) for Glenfaba.

He also served in a number of ministerial posts on the Isle of Man and is therefore a former member of the Council of Ministers.

[4] He was elected to the Legislative Council in 2015, for what was intended to be a five-year term, but he announced his early retirement in 2018.

He was called to resign by protesters following his support of legislation which would have prohibited the advocacy of homosexuality in schools.

David Anderson received his secondary education at the Douglas High School for Boys.
