David Acfield Emms OBE (16 February 1925 – 21 December 2015) was an English educationalist and former rugby union player.
In 1947 he went on to Brasenose College, Oxford to study Modern Languages and received a BA Hons in 1950.
[2] Having received a Diploma in Education in 1951 David Emms became an Assistant Master at Uppingham School.
From 1988 to 1991 he was also Honorary Colonel of the 39th (City of London) Signal Regiment (Special Communications) (Volunteers).
[2] David Emms was also a notable Rugby Union player, representing Oxford University RFC in 1949 and 1950 in The Varsity Match.
