David G. Campbell

[1] Campbell served as a law clerk to Judge J. Clifford Wallace of the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit from 1979 to 1980, and to Associate Justice William H. Rehnquist of the Supreme Court of the United States for the 1982 Term.

[3] Campbell was nominated to serve as judge of the United States District Court for the District of Arizona by President George W. Bush on March 13, 2003, to a new seat created by 116 Stat.

From 2016 to 2020, Judge Campbell chaired the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure for the federal courts, which oversees the Civil, Criminal, Appellate, Bankruptcy, and Evidence advisory committees.

[5] Judge Campbell currently serves as chair of the federal courts' Committee on International Judicial Relations.

[1] Judge Campbell has worked with the courts of Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, and other countries on judicial case management.
