David Huron

David Huron (born June 1, 1954) is a Canadian-American Arts and Humanities Distinguished Professor at the Ohio State University, in both the School of Music and the Center for Cognitive and Brain Sciences.

David Huron was born in the Peace River, Alberta in Canada.

He attended the Canterbury High School (Ottawa) and later studied at the The Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

[3] Huron began his teaching career at the University of Waterloo and moved to Ohio State in 1998 as a Professor of Music Theory and Cognitive Science.
