Dawn Pictures is an Indian film production company headed by Aakash Baskaran.

[1][2] Aakash Baskaran set up the Chennai-based film production house Dawn Pictures in 2024, before moving on to co-produce the Dhanush-directorial Idly Kadai (2025), along with Wunderbar Films, which also stars Dhanush, alongside Nithya Menen, Shalini Pandey, Arun Vijay and Prakash Raj.

[3] He subsequently went on to work on higher-profile projects, notably beginning with Sudha Kongara's Parasakthi, starring Sivakarthikeyan, Atharvaa, Sreeleela and Ravi Mohan.

It was also supposed to feature Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, and Vijay Varma alongside Suriya.

[6][7][8][9] In 2025, along with Idly Kadai and Parasakthi, the studio is also working on a venture including Silambarasan as the lead actor and Ramkumar Balakrishnan as the director, in his second directorial venture after Parking (2023), tentatively titled STR 49.
