Decaryochloa

Decaryochloa is a genus of Madagascan bamboo in the grass family.

[2] There is only one known species, Decaryochloa diadelpha, found only in Madagascar.

[1] Decaryochloa is found only in Alaotra Mangoro region of eastern Madagascar.

[1] It is native to humid lowland and lower montane forest between 500 and 1,072 meters elevation.

It is threatened with habitat loss across its small range from deforestation for timber, shifting cultivation, conversion of land for agriculture, and mining.
