Derrick Rodgers

Derrick Andre Rodgers (born October 14, 1971) is an American former professional football player who was a linebacker for eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1990s and early 2000s.

Rodgers played college football for the Arizona State Sun Devils, earning consensus All-American honors in 1996.

As a senior in 1996, Rodgers was recognized as a consensus first-team All-American as a defensive lineman.

The Miami Dolphins selected Rodgers in the third round (92nd pick overall) of the 1997 NFL draft.

He finished his NFL career playing for the New Orleans Saints in 2003 and 2004.
