Healy played hurling at all grades as a student at Midleton CBS.
[1][2] Healy later lined out with MTU Cork in the Fitzgibbon Cup.
He was part of the Lisgoold team that beat Erin's Own by 2–18 to 2–13 to claim the Cork IAHC title in 2024.
[5] Healy first appeared on the inter-county scene for Cork during a two-year tenure with the minor team.
[7] Healy first appeared for the senior team during the 2025 National Hurling League.
