Richard Irving Eliason (October 14, 1925 – April 3, 2011) was an American politician, commercial fisherman, and pipe fitter.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He was a commercial fisherman and pipe fitter in Sitka, Alaska.
From 1969 to 1971 and from 1973 to 1981, Eliason served in the Alaska House of Representatives and was a Republican.
[2][3] He also served in the Reagan Administration as a Commissioner on the International Pacific Halibut Commission from 1983 to 1989[4][5]
