Diego Gómez (Paraguayan footballer)

Diego Alexander Gómez Amarilla (born 27 March 2003) is a Paraguayan professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion and the Paraguay national team.

[5] On 20 July 2023, Gómez signed with Major League Soccer side Inter Miami for an undisclosed fee.

[6] On 21 February 2024, Gómez scored his first goal for the club in a 2–0 win over Real Salt Lake in the first game of the 2024 Major League Soccer season with the help of an assist from Luis Suárez.

[7] On 10 December 2024, Gomez agreed to join Brighton and Hove Albion on 1 January 2025 in a deal believed to be worth about £14 million.
