Carl Diercke (born 15 September 1842 in Kyritz, Ostprignitz; died 7 March 1913 in Berlin) was a German cartographer.
Diercke was the first in the world to develop a world atlas without leaving his birth country[1] In 1871, he married Hermine Marie Ottilie Lucas.
Diercke was one of about 250 German brands selected in 2016 by Florian Langenscheidt [de], Deutsche Standards,[a] and Meiré and Meiré[b] to be recognized as "Brands of the Century" for having a strong brand.
