[1] Bruck began his football career as an apprentice with Coventry City, and made his league debut at home to Swindon Town on 28 April 1961, aged just 17 years 9 days.
[3] He was part of the Coventry team that won the Second Division title in 1967,[4] and played 189 league games for the club.
[1] He moved to Charlton Athletic in October 1970 for a fee of £15,000,[5] and two years later joined Northampton Town.
After leaving Northampton he was part of the Nuneaton Borough team that reached the first round proper of the 1974–75 FA Cup[6] before moving to Weymouth as player-manager.
Bruck also worked part time as a PE Teacher at Abbotsford School in Kenilworth in the late 1970s.
