Dime Box is an unincorporated community and census designated place in Lee County, Texas, United States.
In 1913, the Southern Pacific Railroad built a line three miles southeast of the original location of Dime Box.
[citation needed] The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers; generally mild to cool winters; and precipitation evenly distributed throughout the year.
