Dipankar Ghosh (mountaineer)

He enrolled in Sabujsathi Primary School in the Uttarpara area of Hooghly.

He completed his higher secondary education at Bali Jora Ashwatala School in 1983.

[7] In 2018, he successfully summited Cho Oyu, the world's sixth-highest peak on the China-Nepal border, 20 kilometers west of Mount Everest.

[9] His mortal remains were discovered by the rescue team after 8 days of his being missing.

[6] In 2019, he was posthumously honored with the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award for the year 2018 by the Government of India.
