Dmitriy Alexanin (Cyrillic: Дмитрий Алексанин) is a Kazakhstani épée fencer,[1] team gold medallist at the 2014 Asian Championships and team bronze medallist at the 2014 Asian Games.
Alexanin later went on to win a gold medal (individual) at the 2018 Asian Games.
At the 2012 Summer Olympics he competed in the Men's épée, but was defeated in the first round by Silvio Fernández.
He reached the quarter-finals in the individual event and won a team gold medal at the 2013 Asian Fencing Championships in Shanghai.
At the 2013 World Fencing Championships in Budapest he reached again the quarter-finals, where he was defeated by Estonia's Nikolai Novosjolov who eventually won the gold medal.
