[2] Cipywnyk would go on to co-chair the Prairie Center for Ukrainian Heritage, he served as chair of the Advisory Committee on Saskatchewan-Ukraine ties.

He also worked on the University of Saskatchewan Senate and the Canadian Council of Christians and Jews.
