Dodd City is a town in Fannin County, in the U.S. state of Texas.

Texas State Highway 56 passes through the town center, leading east 4.5 miles (7.2 km) to Windom and west 6 miles (10 km) to Bonham, the county seat.

According to the United States Census Bureau, Dodd City has a total area of 1.8 square miles (4.6 km2), all land.

22.5% of all households were made up of individuals, and 10.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
