Dolnji Lakoš (pronounced [ˈdoːlnji ˈlaːkɔʃ]; Hungarian: Alsólakos) is a village southwest of Lendava in the Prekmurje region of Slovenia.
Swampy meadows and pastures lie north of the village, and there are tilled fields to the east.
The village has no major stands of wooded territory, and the land is subject to flooding.
The Hungarian name Alsólakos semantically corresponds to the Slovene name and also means 'lower Lakoš'.
[4] The local church in the settlement is dedicated to the Holy Cross and belongs to the Parish of Lendava.
