Dolton (/ˈdɔːltən/) is a village in Cook County, Illinois, United States.
[2] Dolton is located just west of the expressway Interstate 94 and immediately south of the city limits of Chicago.
[4] The villages of Dolton and nearby Riverdale were effectively one community until each incorporated separately in 1892.
