[3] It was though in List A cricket that Williamson was the prove to be more useful, making his debut for the county against Derbyshire in the 1996 Benson & Hedges Cup.
He made 65 further List A appearances for Leicestershire, the last of which came against Yorkshire in the 1996 Norwich Union National League.
[6] These figures, one of two five wicket hauls he took for Leicestershire, came against Sussex in the 1997 AXA Life League.
[8] Despite his success in the limited-overs format, Williamson left Leicestershire at the end of the 2000 season.
In 2001 he joined Shropshire, making his debut for the county against the Worcestershire Cricket Board in the 2001 MCCA Knockout Trophy.
