Donald M. Jones

Donald Maxstadt Jones (1920 or 1921 – January 11, 1985) was an American football, basketball, and golf coach.

[1] After returning from the war, Jones was hired as the junior varsity backfield coach for his alma mater, Rutgers.

[2] In 1949, at 28 years old, Jones was hired as the head football coach for Hamilton College.

[4] He returned as the head football coach in 1975 and held the position for four more seasons before retiring in 1978.

[5] In 28 total seasons as football coach, Jones led the team to an overall record of 97–102–7.
