Donald McKinlay

Donald McKinlay (25 July 1891 – 16 September 1959) was a Scottish footballer who played as a left back.

He spent most of his career with Liverpool, winning the Football League title twice in the early 1920s.

[5] The goalkeeper Kenny Campbell (a childhood acquaintance) credited McKinlay's assistance during his early days at Anfield.

Liverpool were league champions two years in succession in 1921–22 and 1922–23 in the first two seasons of his captaincy.
