The Donn Handicap was an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually from 1959 through 2016 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida.
A race for horses age four and older, it was contested on turf from inception through 1964 at a distance of a mile and one-half.
Racing Hall of Fame inductee Gun Bow won the first edition at its present distance of one and one-eighth miles on dirt.
[2] Under those same race conditions, Pistols and Roses won it back-to-back in 1993 and 1994 as did another Hall of Fame inductee Cigar in the two ensuing years.
In addition, reigning Horse of the Year Invasor won the Donn in 2007 prior to taking the Dubai World Cup.
