Douglas Smith (born September 17, 1969) is an American former professional basketball player.

Smith is a 1987 graduate of Detroit's Mackenzie High School; he played collegiate basketball for the University of Missouri, where his number 34 is retired.

[2] Smith was named to the All-Continental Basketball Association (CBA) Second Team while playing for the Quad City Thunder in 1998.
