Dragoslav Srejović

[1] He was the main contributor to the exploration of the Lepenski Vir archaeological site.

Srejović had a broad range of interests, and his fields of research range from paleolithic and mesolithic sites in Yugoslavia, through the late Roman period, to Greco-Roman mythology.

He was a prolific author, having published more than 200 papers, over 20 monographs and a dozen guides and catalogs.

[2] Srejović was recipient of the October Award of City of Belgrade (1977) for his work on Lepenski Vir excavations, as well as the 7th July Award of the Socialist Republic of Serbia.
