Drayton, North Dakota

Drayton is a city in Pembina County, North Dakota, United States.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.65 square miles (1.68 km2), all land.

Because of low river levels the riverboats never materialized, with the result that the drawbridge never needed to be raised.

[7] The main employer in the area is American Crystal Sugar, which operates a sugar refinery on the outskirts of town, providing 140 year round and 75 seasonal jobs.
