Drevníky

Drevníky is a municipality and village in Příbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

Drevníky consists of four municipal parts (in brackets population according to the 2021 census):[2] The word drevník (derived from drvo = dialectally 'wood') referred to a person who works with wood.

The highest point is the hill Na Skalách at 460 m (1,510 ft) above sea level.

The first written mention of Drevníky is from 1348, when the village belonged to the Příbram estate.

The Colloredo-Mannsfeld family were the last owners of the village before the establishment of a sovereign municipality in 1848.
