Drohobych Raion

[1] On 18 July 2020, as part of the administrative reform of Ukraine, the number of raions of Lviv Oblast was reduced to seven, and the area of Drohobych Raion was significantly expanded.

Boryslav and Drohobych municipalities, as well as the city of Truskavets, which was previously incorporated as a city of oblast significance, were merged into Drohobych Raion.

[2][3] The January 2020 estimate of the raion population was 51,152 (2020 est.).

After the reform in July 2020, the raion consisted of 5 hromadas:[3] Before the 2020 reform, the raion consisted of one hromada,[9] Medenychi settlement hromada with the administration in Medenychi.
