He is taken to the laboratory of a masked man called The Doctor, who reveals he is Rex Lewis and that he has been controlling Ana with nanomites.
After saving Flint, Duke is killed off early in the film via an airstrike ordered by Zartan (who was masquerading as the President of the United States).
