Dumbrăvița, Brașov

Dumbrăvița (until 1960 Țânțari; German: Schnackendorf; Hungarian: Szunyogszék) is a commune in Brașov County, Transylvania, Romania.

The commune is located in the central part of the county, 10 km (6.2 mi) north of Codlea and 24 km (15 mi) from the county seat, Brașov, in the western part of the Burzenland region.

It is surrounded by the Perșani Mountains, with the Măgura Codlei Peak at 1,292 m (4,239 ft) to the south.

The village of Vlădeni is traversed by the national road DN1, which runs from Bucharest to the border with Hungary.

Dumbrăvița has a train station that serves the CFR Line 200, which connects Brașov to Făgăraș, some 44 km (27 mi) to the west.
