Duncan Cameron (Conservative MLA)

Duncan Cameron (May 1, 1863 – September 23, 1942[1]) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada.

Cameron was born in Morven, Argyllshire, Scotland, and was educated at Oban.

He operated a general store in the community from 1893 to 1899, and become its first reeve upon its official establishment as a municipality.

Cameron was supported by the official Conservative Party, and defeated Liberal candidate A.D. Cummings by 39 votes to win election in the Gilbert Plains division.

He served in the legislature for nearly two years as a backbench supporter of Rodmond Roblin's government, and did not seek re-election in 1910.
