As a senior at Lake Forest he averaged 23 points, 7 assists and 8 rebounds per game and was ranked one of the top 20 high school prospects in Illinois.
In his junior season at Villanova, Ennis started and helped the team win the Big East championship, complete a 33–3 record and receive a No.
