Dynamic frequency selection

Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) is a channel allocation scheme specified for wireless LANs, commonly known as Wi-Fi.

The actual mechanism, durations, radar pulse pattern, power levels, and frequency bands on which DFS is enforced vary by jurisdiction.
