Dziedzice ([d͡ʑɛˈd͡ʑit͡sɛ]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Strzeleczki, within Krapkowice County, Opole Voivodeship, in southern Poland.
[1] Historically located in Upper Silesia, in the Prudnik Land.
Within medieval Piast-ruled Poland, it was the location of a motte-and-bailey castle, which existed until the 15th century, and is now an archaeological site.
[3] In 1783 the town was bought by King Frederick the Great of Prussia.
[4] The village became again part of Poland following Germany's defeat in World War II in 1945.
