Earl Hersh

Earl Walter Hersh (May 21, 1932 – March 18, 2013), was an American professional baseball outfielder, who played seven games in Major League Baseball (MLB), for the Milwaukee Braves, during the 1956 season.

He was originally signed by the Braves, as an amateur free agent, prior to the 1953 season.

A two-sport athlete, Hersh was recognized separately, in both football (1982), and baseball (1992).

In 1958, Hersh won the American Association RBI title, while playing for the Wichita Braves.
