Earl D. Tanner[1] (born February 20, 1950) is an American politician and a former Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives.
He graduated from Skyline High School in 1968, then got a degree in mathematics from the University of Utah in 1971.
Tanner served an LDS mission in the Philippines before entering law school at the University of Utah.
He served in the Utah National Guard as a member of the 19th Special Forces Group.
[3] During the 2016 legislative session, he served on the House Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee and the House Public Utilities and Technology Committee.
