The territory consists of thirteen townships located along the northern and eastern border of the county.
As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 73 people, 32 households, and 18 families residing in the unorganized territory.
The racial makeup of the unorganized territory was 97.26% White, 1.37% Native American, and 1.37% from two or more races.
34.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 15.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
There were no families and 2.8% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 13.3% of those over 64.
