Toronto East (federal electoral district)

Toronto East (called East Toronto until 1903) was a federal electoral district represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1867 to 1935.

It was located in the city of Toronto in the province of Ontario.

It was created by the British North America Act of 1867.

After 1903, the boundaries varied, but generally included the part of the city east of Sherbourne Street.

The electoral district was abolished in 1933 when it was redistributed between Broadview and Greenwood ridings.
