Many houses are named after prominent historic buildings (such as Rosenborg, Rosenvold), localities (Hindsholm, a peninsula off Funen).

Herman Ebert's own villa, Sans Souci, which is inspired by Franz Joseph I of Austria's summer residence in Bad Ischl.
