Eddy Mazzoleni

Eddy Mazzoleni (born 29 July 1973) is a former Italian professional road bicycle racer who most recently rode for UCI ProTour Astana Team.

He also finished 3rd overall in the 2007 Giro d'Italia behind 1st-place winner Danilo Di Luca and 2nd place Andy Schleck.

Mazzoleni left Astana on 16 July 2007, following implication in the Italian Oil for Drugs case.

[2] His name was on the list of doping tests published by the French Senate on 24 July 2013 that were collected during the 1998 Tour de France and found positive for EPO when retested in 2004.
