Edison, Ohio

Edison is a village in Morrow County, Ohio, United States.

Edison is adjacent to and west of Mount Gilead, Ohio, the county seat.

[6] A post office called Gilead Station was established in 1874, and the name was changed to Edison in 1881.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.29 square miles (0.75 km2), all of it land.

The racial makeup of the village was 98.9% White, 0.2% African American, 0.2% Asian, and 0.7% from two or more races.

21.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
