Edolisoma

See text Edolisoma is a genus of birds in the cuckooshrike family Campephagidae that are native to the Central Indo-Pacific region, Australia and New Guinea.

These species were previously placed in the genus Coracina.

They were moved to the resurrected genus Edolisoma based on the results of a molecular phylogenetic study published in 2010.

[3][4] The genus Edolisoma was introduced in 1853 by the French zoologist Jacques Pucheran with the type species as Campephaga marescotii Gray, 1846.

[5] This is now considered to be a junior synonym of Lanius melas Lesson, 1828, the black cicadabird.
