Eduardo Teus

Teus was born in Manila, Philippines in 1896 to a Filipino family who were of mixed native and Spanish origin.

He won 3 Catalan Spanish league and 1 Copa del Rey championship titles for the club.

He later became a successful sports journalist and was later tasked by Francisco Franco to manage the Spain national football team as head coach.

He managed the national team from 1941 to 1942,[2][3] playing a total of six international games, of which he won three, and lost only one and drew two.

In 1958, Teus died of a stroke while watching a game at the press box of the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao in Spain.
