Edward Evelyn Greaves

Edward Evelyn Greaves (19 April 1940 - 22 September 2018[1]) was High Commissioner of Barbados to Canada from 2008 until 2015.

Edward Evelyn Greaves was born at Pie Corner in the Parish of St. Lucy in the Island of Barbados on 19 April 1940.

Greaves graduated from the University of the West Indies (Cave Hill Campus) with an honours degree in history and economics (1967) and from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, U.S., with a master's degree in education (Labor Studies- 1971).

Greaves was the Barbados government representative and High Commissioner to Canada until 2015.

The Barbadian High Commissioner in Ottawa is also concurrently accredited as non-resident ambassador to Australia and New Zealand.
