Edward J. Brundage

Edward Jackson Brundage (May 13, 1869 – January 20, 1934) was an American lawyer and politician.

Born in Campbell, New York, Brundage moved with his parents to Detroit, Michigan.

In November 1904, Brundage was elected President of the Cook County Board of Commissioners and was reelected in 1906.

Brundage committed suicide at his home in Lake Forest, Illinois by a self-inflicted gunshot to his heart, motivated to do so by his financial problems.

[4] Brundage was also the uncle of Stanley C. Armstrong who also served in the Illinois General Assembly.
