Edward Olivares

He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Diego Padres, Kansas City Royals, and Pittsburgh Pirates.

[1] He split the 2017 season between the Lansing Lugnuts and the Dunedin Blue Jays, hitting a combined .269/.327/.468/.795 with 17 home runs and 72 RBI.

On August 29, 2020, the Padres traded Olivares and a player to be named later to the Kansas City Royals, in exchange for relief pitcher Trevor Rosenthal.
